Hi there brides to be, today I will discuss about
some little preparations that you should consider before getting your bridal henna
done. Seriously, your life will be easy. These recommendations are based on my observations
and experiences that I got while doing henna for my brides.
1-
Get your facials, waxing, pedicure and
manicure done at least 10 to 12 hours before getting your henna done. During
this time your skin will calm down and you will enjoy true softness of henna.
Moreover your henna stain will get fade quickly if you get your waxing,
manicure or pedicure done after getting your henna done.
2-
This advice is for those brides to be
who wear their contact lenses on regular bases. Take off your contact lenses before
getting your bridal henna done. Otherwise you won’t be able to touch your eyes once
your bridal henna is on.
3-
Before the arrival of henna artist, wear
your pajamas and be comfortable. In some cases brides to be get their henna
done during the henna/sangeet party. In this case chose a party dress that is
loose and easy to take off without ruining the henna design.
4-
Reduce intake of liquids, tea, soda or
any other caffeinated beverages to avoided frequent trips to the wash room.
5-
Last but not least designate an
assistant for yourself (friend, cousin, bride’s maid) before getting your
bridal henna done. He/She will take care of your cell phone calls from your make-up
artist, decorator, florist, caterer or wedding planner about last minute preparation.

Please share your ideas too. Happy
wedding planning:)
